Description

Skimmia japonica ‘Scarlet Dwarf’

An evergreen shrub of a spreading habit with dark green leaves. It bears fragrant, creamy white in spring which may be followed by clusters of red berries if planted near a male variety of Skimmia for pollination.

Grow in moderately fertile, humus-rich, moist but well-drained soil in light dappled shade to deep shade. It will reach a height of 50-300cm and a spread of 1.5m.
