Symphyotrichum novi-belgii ‘Marina Wolkonsky’
A clump forming perennial, which produces tall, woody stems with lanceolate, mid-green hairy leaves clasping the stem.
Violet-purple flowers with orange-brown centres are borne from August to October.
Grow in well-cultivated, fertile, moist soil in sun or partial shade It will reach a height of 1.2m and a spread of 75cm. Mildew resistant.
