Syringa microphylla ‘Superba’
An erect, spreading, often bushy shrub with slender branches, red-green when young, and lance-shaped to ovate or elliptic, glossy, dark green leaves which are densely grey-white-hairy on the undersides. In spring and early summer, strongly scented, white throated, rose-pink flowers are borne in small panicles. After its initial flowering period it will continue to flower irregularly until autumn.
Grow in fertile, humus-rich, well-drained, neutral to alkaline soil in full sun. It will reach a height and spread of up to 6m.
