Culvers’s Root. Stout, leafy stems which carry lance-shaped leaves arrayed up the stem in whorls of three to six until just below the flowerheads. From June to September, single, erect, strong lavender flower spikes on coral-red stamens are borne.
Grow in rich, moist soil in full sun or partial shade. It will reach a height of 85cm and a spread of 45cm.
