Synonym Wisteria brachybotrys ‘Iko yama fuji’. Silky Wisteria. A vigorous, twining climber with pinnate leaflets. In late spring and early summer, pea-like, fragrant, double pale lilac, pendant racemes of flowers up to 30cm in length are borne from rich violet buds.

Grow in fertile, moist but well-drained soil in full sun or partial shade. It will reach a height of 9m or more.
