A medium sized apple which has smooth and shining greenish yellow skin which has faint streaks of dull red on the shaded side and entirely covered with deep red on the exposed side. As the fruit matures the skin turns deep yellow with flesh coloured patches on the shaded side and a clear crimson on the exposed side; strewed all over with small russet dots. The yellowish flesh is firm, crisp, juicy, and sweet, with a pleasant flavour. It can be used from December to the end of April either for dessert or culinary use. Flowering Group 2. Triploid.
