A medium-sized apple which has a deep maroon skin. The crisp white flesh is sweet and juicy with some acidity, when fully flavoured it has a flavour of a cross between a strawberry and a melon. Pick in early October when coloured up well. Its season of use is from November to January. (Canada 1926). Flowering Group 3.

Containerised Trees are supplied from September to August. Bare Root Trees are supplied from November to March
