The greenish white flesh is sweet, astringent, and slightly crisp. The fruit is ripe in early November. (Somerset 19th Century) Flowering Group 5

It is a firm, crisp, juicy, and sugary apple which has white flesh with a yellowish tinge. Picks in late August to early September. If cooked it will keep its shape and colour. Can also be used for cider. (UK, 19th Century). Flowering Group 3.
