Bergenia ‘Fire and Ice’

A compact, clump-forming, evergreen perennial which has rounded to ovate, glossy, maroon-flushed, dark green green leaves. In spring, dense clusters of open bell-shaped, pink-flushed, white flowers with reddish-pink calyces are borne on stiff, upright stems.

Grow in humus-rich, moist but well-drained soil in full sun or partial shade. They are tolerant of poor soil and exposure, this enhances their winter leaf colour. It will reach a height and spread of 20cm.
