Korean Feather Reed Grass. A useful, clump-forming grass with an upright habit which has gently arching fountains of grey-green foliage, which takes on buttery shades in autumn. From June to August, tall, fluffy flower heads which are silvery-grey with pinkish-purple tints are borne.
Grow in fertile, moist soil in full sun or partial shade. It will reach a height of 1.5m and a spread of 90cm.

Sedge. A dense, clump-forming, evergreen grass which has stiff, narrow arching leaves with distinctive green and white variegation. Bears brown flower spikes from April to June.
Grow in moisture retentive soil with good drainage in sun or partial shade. It will reach a height and spread of 30cm.

A dense, clump-forming grass with an upright habit which has fine dark green leaves which have yellow margins, which fade to cream. In early summer, sturdy stems form which hold the graceful arching pinkish flowerheads.
Grow in fertile, moist soil in full sun or partial shade. It will reach a height of 1.2m and a spread of 60cm.
Pheasant’s Tail Grass. A loosely tufted, rhizomatous evergreen perennial with arching, flat or inrolled, leathery, dark green leaves to 30cm long, streaked orange-brown in summer, and turning orange-brown all over in winter. From June to September, pendant panicles to 75cm long of purplish green spikelets are borne.
Grow in moderately fertile, medium to light, well-drained soil in full sun. It will reach a height of up 1m and a spread of 1.2m.
Tufted Hair Grass. A dense, tussock-forming, evergreen grass of compact habit which has rigid, linear, rough, mid-green leaves.. From June to August silvery, reddish-brown flower spikes which age to golden yellow are borne.
Grow in dry to damp, neutral to acid soil in sun or partial shade. It will reach a height and spread of 75cm.
