A clump-forming, densely tufted, evergreen grass which has flat, linear, pointed, mid- to dark green leaves. From July to September, soft, pinkish brush-like spikelet’s are borne.
Grow in lightly, moderately fertile, well-drained soil in full sun. It will reach a height of 1.2m and a spread of 1m.

Switch Grass. An upright, deciduous perennial grass which forms clumps of flat, linear, arching, blue-green leaves which turn yellow in autumn. In early autumn weeping panicles of tiny, blue-green flowers are borne.
