A vigorous, arching, evergreen shrub with narrowly elliptic-lance-shaped, tapered, deeply veined, pale green leaves. Bears large cymes of white flowers in early summer which are followed by spherical, golden yellow fruit, produced over a long period in autumn.

Grow in well drained soil in sun or shade, will tolerate dry conditions once established, protect from cold winds. It will reach a height and spread of 5m.
