Foxglove. A clump-forming perennial which has toothed, almost entire, oblong to inversely lance-shaped, hairless, glossy, dark green leaves. Slender racemes of narrow, pale yellow flowers are borne in early and midsummer.  Toxic if eaten

Grow in any soil apart from soils which are excessively wet or dry, prefers humus-rich, alkaline soil in partial shade. It will reach a height of 90cm and a spread of 30cm.
