Koelreuteria paniculata

Pride of India. An attractive, spreading tree which has reddish pinnate leaves in spring turning to dark green in summer, then to bright yellow in autumn. Has large panicles of small yellow flowers in July and August. They are followed by bladder-like, pink to red flushed fruit capsules. Deciduous.

Grow in fertile, well-drained soil in full sun. It will reach a height and spread of 10m.
