Mint (Apple)
Mentha suaveolens. Also known as Pineapple Mint, Woolly Mint or Round-Leafed Mint. It has rounded, softly hairy, apple-scented leaves. From July to September small pale purple flowers are borne. It can be used for making tea or infused in oil or vinegar, but is also good with chocolate for a dessert. Good for mint sauce. Vigorous growth. Recommended for pot growing due to self seeding.
Grow in a sunny position. It will reach a height of 90cm.
