Monarda didyma Balmy Purple = ‘Balbalmurp’
A compact, clump-forming, perennial which has ovate, pointed, aromatic, dark green leaves. From July to September erect stems bearing dense, whorled clusters of small, tubular, two-lipped, clear purple flowers are borne.
Grow in moderately fertile, humus rich, moist but well drained soil in full sun or light dappled shade. It will reach a height of 30cm and a spread of 40cm.
