The pale yellow flesh which has a slight pinkish tinge towards the core is melting, sweet and very juicy, with a pleasant pear flavour. Good cropper. Its season of use is October to November. (Sawbridgeworth, Herts. 19th Century). Flowering Group 3. Self Fertile

Containerised Trees are supplied from September to August. Bare Root Trees are supplied from November to March.
