Description
Salvia ‘Amistad’
A tender to borderline hardy, upright, branching, woody-based perennial, often grown as an annual, with ovate, hairy, toothed, aromatic, mid-green leaves. From July to October dark purple stems bear whorled spikes of fragrant, two-lipped, dark purple flowers.
Grow in light, moderately fertile, humus-rich, moist but well-drained soil in full sun or light dappled shade. It will reach a height of 1.2m and a spread of 50cm.
