Crumpled leaves and flowers, even dried, will keep flies away in the kitchen and larder! Leaves can be stewed with rhubarb. Tasty rubbed onto meat, like rosemary. Can be used to flavour sausages, omelettes, meat pies and stuffing. If the flowers are boiled they will produce a lovely golden yellow dye.
