Bergenia cordifolia ‘Shoeshine Rose’
Elephant’s Ears. A clump-forming perennial which has rounded to heart-shaped mid- to deep green leaves which are tinted bronze in winter. From March to April, deep rose flowers are borne.
Grow in humus-rich, moist but well-drained soil in full sun or partial shade. They are tolerant of poor soil and exposure, this enhances their winter leaf colour. It will reach a height of 25cm and a spread of 30cm.
